Where It All Began – South Africa with Kevin Richardson
In 2023, I spent a week photographing the lions in Kevin's care. Together, we sketched, filmed and developed the concept that would become a large-scale oil painting featuring some of his most iconic lions. Our ambition was to take the painting onto the world stage, using art to share the stories behind these incredible animals and the conservation work of the Kevin Richardson Foundation.
Exhibited at Sotheby's in July 2026, the original painting reached an international audience, with all proceeds from its sale donated directly to the Kevin Richardson Foundation. It has been an incredible privilege to play a small part in supporting their ongoing conservation efforts, and I hope these limited edition prints continue to share that story long into the future.
