Black and White Elephant Paper Print

Black and White Elephant Paper Print

Sales Tax Included

I am excited to announce that I will be painting live again at the Zoos SA gala. Last year, the focus was cheetah conservation; this year, it is all about the elephants.

At last year's gala, I had the privilege of painting a cheetah portrait live on stage, which sold at auction on the night for AUD $21,000. It was an honour to be involved and to raise so much for wildlife conservation.

This year, I'm back on stage, and I will be hand embellishing a canvas print of a black and white elephant drawing I did in 2015. This one-of-a-kind print will be auctioned at the event and will not be available outside of the gala. I look forward to meeting the guests there and donating 100% of the funds raised by this painting to the conservation of elephants at the Monarto Safari Park.

Throughout this process, there has been a lot of interest in the original drawing, which is a part of my own private collection and is not for sale.

However, I am excited to make prints of the original artwork available to you.

How the edition is set

You have the first access to the prints so that you can get the lowest, or specific number of the edition (Provided that your selected number falls within the range for the final number of editions)

On the 10th of February, I will open up the print release to the public for 48 hours (closes at 12pm ACDT on the 12th of February). Once the two-day release window is over, the number of prints sold during that time will set the number of editions. That means there could be editions of 5, or editions of 50… who knows!

After the release ends

I will place the order for all the prints to be printed, which will take the printing company around one week to complete. The prints will then be shipped over to my studio, where I will hand sign, number, emboss and package each one.

Once everything is complete and ready to go, we will ship them out to you using Express AusPost. For international shipments, this means that the print may take up to 3 weeks to be delivered.

Please note that minor variations in sizes may occur during the printing process.

The exact time frame from now until you receive your print is an estimate and depends on how many prints are sold, but here is what we expect based on past experience:

  • February 10 Prints are available

  • February 12 Print release ends

  • February 13 - 20 Prints are being Printed and prepared

  • February 20 Prints arrive in the studio

  • February 20 - 27 Prints are being hand signed, numbered, embossed and packaged

  • February 27 - Mar 5 Prints are being lodged with Auspost and leave the studio

Prints shipped throughout Australia should be delivered in the second week of March.

International shipments should be delivered by the end of March/Mid April.

Thank you for being part of this print release!
